- ●3 cups old-fashioned oats (not quick-cooking)
- ●1/2 cup unsweetened flaked coconut
- ●1/4 cup refined coconut oil
- ●1/3 cup pure maple syrup
- ●2 tablespoons packed dark brown sugar
- ●1 tablespoon NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Baking Cocoa
- ●1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ●1/4 teaspoon salt
- ●1/2 cup NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Dark Chocolate Morsels, or more to taste
- ●1/2 cup dried cherries, halved
Make It
Step 1
Preheat oven to 300° F. Combine oats and coconut in large bowl.
Step 2
Combine coconut oil, maple syrup, brown sugar, cocoa, cinnamon and salt in small saucepan. Cook over medium heat for about 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the coconut oil is melted and the sugar is dissolved.
Step 3
Pour liquid mixture over oats mixture and toss to coat. Spread oat mixture out on a rimmed baking sheet.
Step 4
Bake for 30 minutes, tossing every 10 minutes. Cool granola to room temperature on baking sheet on wire rack. It will harden as it cools. Toss granola with morsels and dried cherries. Store in airtight container.
