- ●2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ●½ cup Nestlé® Toll House® Baking Cocoa
- ●1 teaspoon baking soda
- ●1/2 teaspoon salt
- ●1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- ●1 cup packed brown sugar
- ●½ cup granulated sugar
- ●1 ½ tablespoons Nescafé® Taster’s Choice® House Blend 100% Pure Instant Coffee Granules
- ●2 large eggs
- ●1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- ●½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ●1 cup Nestlé® Toll House® Premier White Morsels
- ●½ cup crushed hard peppermint candies or candy canes
Make It
Step 1
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
Step 2
Beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and coffee granules in large mixer bowl with paddle attachment for about 5 minutes or until fluffy and coffee granules are almost dissolved. Beat in eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in peppermint and vanilla extracts.
Step 3
Gradually beat in flour mixture until just combined. Gently stir in morsels.
Step 4
Drop dough onto parchment paper-lined baking sheets using a 1.5-ounce or 3-tablespoon scoop, placing 2 inches apart. Press down slightly. Sprinkle each cookie with about ½ teaspoon crushed candy.
Step 5
Bake at 325° F for 12 to 14 minutes or until edges are set.
Tips
This recipe makes about 36 servings, 1 cookie per serving.
