Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 12cup muffin tin with paper or foil liners.

Step 2

Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl; stir well.

Step 3

Beat sugar and butter in a large mixer bowl until creamy.

Step 4

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla extract.

Step 5

Gradually beat in the flour mixture alternately with milk until fully combined.

Step 7

Spoon batter evenly into prepared liners, filling each about two-thirds full.

Step 8

Bake for 20 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 9

Cool in the pan on a wire rack for 15 minutes, then transfer cupcakes to the rack to cool completely.

Step 10

Pipe colored frosting onto the cooled cupcakes. If using two colors, add both to the piping bag for a swirled effect.

Step 11

Garnish cupcakes with remaining Soccer Ball Morsels.
