Ingredients
- ●1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- ●1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- ●1/8 teaspoon salt
- ●1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened, divided
- ●1/3 cup granulated sugar
- ●1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- ●1 large egg
- ●1 3/4 cups (11-ounce package) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Peanut Butter & Milk Chocolate Morsels, divided
- ●1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
- ●4 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- ●1/2 cup water
- ●1 1/3 cups NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels, melted per label directions
- ●1 container (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
Make It
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350º F.
Step 2
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add egg; beat well. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in 3/4 cup peanut butter & milk chocolate morsels. Press dough onto bottom of ungreased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Step 3
Bake for 16 to 18 minutes or until light golden brown. Immediately sprinkle with remaining cup peanut butter & milk chocolate morsels. Let stand for 5 minutes or until morsels are shiny; spread. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
Step 4
Combine peanut butter and remaining 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter in large mixer bowl until well blended. Gradually add powdered sugar and water; beat well. Spread over cookie base.
Step 5
Spread melted chocolate over peanut butter layer. Refrigerate about 1 hour or until firm.
Step 6
Spread whipped topping over chocolate layer. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
