Ingredients

  • 1 package (18 1/2 oz.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Cookie Baking Mix with Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
  • 1 tablespoon NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Baking Cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon ancho chili powder
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons water
  • 1 container (14 oz.) HÄAGEN-DAZS® Dulce de Leche Ice Cream or other flavor, slightly softened

Instructions

PREHEAT oven to 375° F.

COMBINE Cookie Mix, cocoa, cinnamon and chili powder in medium bowl.

BEAT softened butter, egg and water in large bowl until combined. For best results, use an electric mixer. Slowly add Cookie Mix mixture and continue beating until dough forms. Gently stir in Morsels.

DROP by rounded teaspoon, 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.

BAKE for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are set. Cool on sheets for 2 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.

SERVE with a small scoop of ice cream or sandwich a tablespoon of ice cream between two cookies. Serve immediately.

TIPS:
• To make 20 larger cookies, drop by rounded tablespoon, 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 9 to 11 minutes.
• You can make the ice cream cookie sandwiches ahead of time. Make the sandwiches and wrap them individually in plastic wrap. Place the sandwiches in a freezer bag and freeze until needed.
