Instructions

PREHEAT oven to 350° F.

KNEAD cookie dough and flour together in large bowl until just combined. On lightly floured surface, roll dough to ¼-inch thickness and cut into 24 cookie squares using a 1 3/4-inch square cookie cutter, re-rolling dough as necessary. Place cookies on ungreased baking sheets about 2 inches apart.

BAKE for 11 to 14 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire rack to cool completely.

ADJUST two oven racks to the upper and lower position and turn on the broiler.

PLACE 12 of the cookies upside-down on baking sheet with a piece of chocolate and a marshmallow on top of each. Place the other cookies on a baking sheet untopped. Broil marshmallow-topped cookies on top rack for 1 to 2 minutes or until lightly browned, being careful not to burn, and the other untopped cookies on the lower rack for the same amount of time.

CAREFULLY PLACE the solo cookies on top of the marshmallow-topped ones, gently pressing down. Serve warm.
