Directions

PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Grease 8-inch-square baking pan.

COMBINE flour, cocoa and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add 2 eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla extract; mix well. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Reserve 3/4 cup batter. Spread remaining batter into prepared baking pan. Sprinkle nuts and white morsels over batter. Drizzle caramel topping over top. Beat remaining egg and reserved batter in same large bowl until light in color. Stir in semi-sweet morsels. Spread evenly over caramel topping.

BAKE for 30 to 35 minutes or until center is set. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.

Remember to follow baking instructions before consuming.

Absolutely delicious!

I made these this past weekend for a family get together. My husband could not wait until they were completely cooled so he had his piece while it was still pretty gooey. They were so good they were gobbled up right away. The only thing I would do differently next time is add five minutes to the baking time. I felt that the top batter could have used it. Great recipe and will definitely make again!.

Very Good

These brownies were very good, in my opinion. A change from my usual brownies. I made them once, and would make them again. They are extremely rich, so next time, I'll probably cut the recipe in half!.

i don't know what i did wrong..

i followed the recipe exactly but the brownies burned on the bottom. also, the caramel oozed up the sides and burned to the pan. i don't know if my oven is running hot or what but they just didn't come out right. i will say, after i trimmed the burned edges and bottoms from them, they tasted really good! i'll try it again at a lower temp, i guess..
