Sailing Team Favorite

We love these butterscotch brownies! I tried this recipe 2 weeks ago and I am making them again tonight. I made them for my daughter's sailing team and they nearly went weak in the knees when they tasted these delicious, chewy brownies. I think this is a new family favorite and the official brownie of the NSA Sailing Team..

Butterscotch Brownies

I agree with another reviewer they were good but not great. Definately not as chewy as I was expecting. I guess I thought the butterscotch chips would melt more into the brownie and they didn't. I could have done without the nuts they didn't add much flavor but rather a different texture. Perhaps next time I'll try toasting them first. I may do a combination of butterscotch chips and white chocolate that I also read in another review. Overall they were good and my family really liked them it was a nice alternative to the regular chocolate brownies..
