Directions

PREHEAT oven to 350° F.

COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in 1 cup morsels and nuts. Drop dough by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Top dollops with remaining morsels.

BAKE for 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets on wire racks for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

PAN COOKIE VARIATION:
Grease 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan. Prepare dough as above, stirring in 1 cup morsels. Spread into prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining morsels. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack. Makes 4 dozen bars.

* NOTE: If omitting nuts, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour.

Remember to follow baking instructions before consuming.

Very Tasty!

These cookies were tasty, but they make far less than the 54 it says. I made 40, and mine were pretty small. Mine baked for 9-10 minutes, and I can't imagine baking smaller cookies for 11 minutes. Be careful!.

Yum

I love these cookies. I make they every time I want cookies. Their also the only kind my daughter will eat. I do make one cange I use half the white sugar and use that much more brown sugar..

Delicious!!

This is an easy and quick recipe, which is a plus for me as I am not a fancy baker, and they are low in carbohydrates. I don't know whether it is my oven...but I only had to bake for 8 minutes. I do recommend making sure is it a well rounded tablespoon and place at least 2 inches apart as they do spread. I will definitly make again..
