Directions

PREHEAT oven to 350° F.

FOR MORSEL-PEANUT BUTTER FILLING:
COMBINE
semi-sweet and butterscotch morsels in medium bowl. Stir in 1/2 cup peanut butter until well combined.

FOR COOKIES:
BEAT
butter and remaining peanut butter in large mixer bowl on medium speed for 30 seconds. Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda and salt; beat until combined. Add eggs, vanilla extract and milk; beat until combined. Beat in as much flour as possible. Stir.

SHAPE 1 tablespoon of dough into ball; flatten into 2-inch diameter circle. Place 1 teaspoon of Morsel-Peanut Butter filling in center of circle. Fold dough around filling, forming a ball. Place balls 1-inch apart on ungreased baking sheets.

BAKE for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 1 minute; remove to wire racks to cool completely. Drizzle melted white morsels over cooled cookies. Store in airtight container at room temperature up to 3 days.

NOTE: May freeze for longer storage.

Remember to follow baking instructions before consuming.

Every bit as addictive as "kiss" cookies!

We LOVE traditional "kiss" cookies which have a similar taste. This is a fun variation! I ended up improvising a lot this time...I didn't have butterscotch morsels, so I mixed the semi -sweet and white morsels half and half (not realizing the white were suppose to be saved for drizzling later). I rolled the finished cookies in sugar before baking thinking I wouldn't have anything to drizzle...but I ended up with extra "filling" (6 kids and a husband eating too much dough) so I melted that and drizzled it on the tops. Overall, it worked out to get creative :) This is definitely a cookie that takes time and gets a little messy...but it's worth it! Make sure to have lots of cold milk on hand! Dieters...BEWARE!!!.

great grab & go cookie

Took these to my Company's picnic and everyone loved them, the best part was that you could and they did grab a handfull and go on to something else. Great flavor and all the different chips added to the wonderful taste, will make these often..
