Orange peel?

We love the regular recipe Oatmeal Scotchies, but found the orange peel in this revision too distracting. Haven't heard from my son in Iraq yet to see what he thought. Maybe the orange peel preserves the cookies better for shipping?.

Addictive

When my husband was in Iraq last year, I sent these cookies for Christmas. I made about five batches. His coworkers loved them. I individually wrapped each cookie in plastic wrap, then packed them in plastic tubs. My husband said that nothing was broken in transit..
