Shoe Fly Pie

This is a recipe that was given to me by a dear friend. It's a change from the ordinary desserts of today.

Ingredients

4 Cups flour (scant)
3/4 Cup margarine
1 1/2-2 Cups brown sugar
3/4 Cup molases
1/4 Cup corn syrup
1 tsp. baking soda
2 Cups boiling water

Directions

Mix flour, margarine, sugar (save a handful to sprinkle top of dish). Put remainder in baking dish. Pour syrups and water over minture after allowing to cool. Bake at 375°F. for 30-40 minutes.
