Peanut Butter Delights

a delightful chocolate candy.

Ingredients

2 c sugar
3 T cocoa
1/2 c margarine or butter
1/2 c evaporated milk
pinch salt
1/2 c peanut butter
2 c quick cooking oats
1 tsp vanilla

Directions

Mix sugar, cocoa, butter, milk, and salt in a heavy saucepan. Boil hard for 2 minutes. Add peanut butter, oats, and vanilla. blend well. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. (work fast especially if it starts to harden) Cool.
