quick and easy banana nut loaf


2/3C. sugar, 1/3C. butter flavored crisco, 2 eggs, 3Tb. milk, 2-3 mashed bananas, 2C. flour, 1t. baking powder, 1t. baking soda, 1/2t. salt
1/2C. chopped walnuts (optional)


Mix first 3 ingredients together until blended. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into a well greased 9 x 5 loaf pan. I personally love my pampered chef loaf stone. Let stand 20-30 minutes before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour. Bread is done when toothpick inserted comes out clean (not sticky). Enjoy.
