Cream the butter and the two sugars then add almond extract and egg and mix very well. In a separate bowl mix your dry ingredients, fold the dry ingredients into the other bowl slowly until all blended together, Now would be the time to add chips but since they are gone I added two butterfingers (my favorite candy) that I had hidden for a midnight snack for myself... a great sacrifice I am making. Crush the butterfingers and add to the cookie mix. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake in preheated oven 350 degrees for about 10 minutes or until desired browness. Cool off (if they let you) that is the cookies not you... and enjoy with a scoop of ice cream. Share with the grandkids if you choose too! Makes aproximately 4 dozen cookies
