2 cups sugar or substitute ( for a lower calorie ; lower carb snack.
TBS ( 1 stick or one cup [ 8 TBS] butter or margarine.
1/2cup lowfat orfat free evaporated milk( reserve extra , cover and keep chilled for so many other uses
1/3cup baking cocoa
3 cups raw*** oats*** (old fashioned or quick)
1 - In a large saucepan, combine sugar, margarine, milk and cocoa.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
2 - Removefrom heat; stir in oats.
3 - Drop by TBS onto a sheet of waxed paper.
Let stand until firm.
