In small saucepan, combine sugar and cocoa. Stir in evaportaed milk; add butter. Bring to boil over medium heat. Keep stirring. Lower heat and continue to cook for 1 minute. (Mixture will thicken). Remove from heat and add vanilla. Makes about 2 cups. Refrigerate any leftovers. Reheats wonderfully.
