Tastes Like More Brittle

Can't stop eating these toffee treats

Ingredients

saltines
2 sticks butter or margarine
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup roasted pecan pieces

Directions

Preheat oven to 450.
Line cookie sheet with foil.
Line cookie sheet with saltines in
single layer.
Melt butter, add brown sugar. Bring to boil and boil 3 minutes. Spoon butter mixture evenly over crackers. Bake 5 minutes.
Layer chocolate chips over baked crackers mixture. Let stand while they melt
and stick. Sprinkle pecan pieces over top. Freeze 10 minutes.
Peel foil. Break into pieces.
