Miss Jean's Cinnamon Scones

These are great fresh out of the oven with a nice hot cup of coffee. Easy and delicious!

Ingredients

Preheat oven to 100 degrees

Mix together:
2 cups Flour
1/4 cup Sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 1/2 teaspoons of Cinnamon

Cut in:
6 Tablespoons of cold Butter

Add:
1 egg (slightly beaten) that has been mixed with buttermilk to make 1 cup of liquid. (I used skim milk with 1 Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar)

Directions

Add liquid mixture and 1 cup of Cinnamon Chips to dry ingredients. Stir well until moistened. Using spoons, place 8 to 10 mounds of dough on a greased cookie sheet, and bake for 18 minutes, turning the cookie sheet around after 9 minutes. (I make mine a little smaller and make 10 to 12 mounds on two different cookie sheets, baking for only about 12 minutes)
