Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a 13 X 9 ungreased baking dish, combine dry cake mix with melted butter; a few lumps of mix are fine. Spread evenly over bottom of pan, and slightly up the sides. Mash into place with your clean hands or a wooden spoon. Pour chocolate morsels over crust, then pour coconut evenly over chips. Mash agan with your clean hands. Pour sweetened condensed milk over coconut, tapping pan on counter to smooth top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until barely golden brown. Cool 15 minutes before cutting into 36 squares. Rich!
Note: I have also made these rich treats with a layer of 1 cup of chopped walnuts on top of the coconut, then the sweetened condensed milk poured over all. Even Richer!
