Delicious Mice

Delicious Mice

Edited on Dec 23, 2008

These are the easiest and cutest little desserts. Everyone will love them!

24 long stemmed cherries, drained and patted dry, they must be dry for the chocolate to stick to them.
24 chocolate pieces
24 halves of chocolate sandwich cookies
48 slivered almonds
1 1/2 c. chocolate bits
red food gel in a tube

Lay out the cookie halves center side up on a cookie sheet or waxed paper.
Melt the chocolate bits.
Dip the cherries into the chocolate and place onto the cookies with the stem end facing out, for the mouse tail.
Smear a bit of the melted chocolate onto each bottom of the pieces. Attach the pieces to the front of the cherries. The pointed end will be the mouse face. Dip the end of each almond into the chocolate and set up on each side of the back of the piece, for the ears. Use the gel to make the eyes and mouth on the chocolate piece face. Not just adorable but tasty!

Not a NESTLÉ®-tested recipe.
