A great fall dish that can be made ahead and reheated. Great to take to a holiday dinner as it can be used as a side dish or a dessert.


1/2 pound cooked fine or medium noodles
3 eggs, separated
1 cup sugar
2 tbsps. melted butter
3 sliced apples (MacIntosh, Winesap, Golden Delicious ) or 1 (20) oz. can sliced apples, drained
1/4 cup golden raisins
2 tsps. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla


Mix melted butter with cooked noodles.Add egg yolks, sugar and other ingredients and mix well.
Beat egg whites stiff and fold into mixture.
Bake in a greased 2 quart baking dish in a 350 degree oven for 40 minutes or until browned.
