Chunky chocolate chip cookies

Make a extra batch for your self as well you might not want to stop eating them


3 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter softened
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
12 ounces semi sweet chocolate chips
11 1/2 ounces milk chocolate chips
11 ounces white chocolate chips


Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl and mix well.
Combine butter, sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl Beat with a electric mixer set at high speed till light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs one at a time Stir in vanilla . Add the flour mixture gradually
to the butter mixture. beating well after each addition.
Fold in chocolate chill dough for 2 hours or longer. Preheat oven to 325 grease cookie sheets. Drop the dough by tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets. Flatten lightly with fork. Bake until browned about 15 minutes. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes . Remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Makes 5 dozen .

For extra crunch add 1 cup chopped walnuts to the dough.

you can use peanut butter or butterscotch chips.
