Homemade egg noodles and chicken
3 cups flour
3 Tablespoons of milk
Put flour in a bowl make a well in flour put in eggs and milk stir with fork roll paper thin and cook in home made chicken broth
Fill large stockpot with the following
2Whole chickens with breast removed
2 large onions peeled cut in quarters
10 carrots chopped in 3 inch pieces
Celery chopped in large pieces
1-tablespoon kosher salt
2- teaspoons pepper
Cook till chicken is falling off bone strain back into pot at slow boil add noodles and chicken breast. When chicken breast are done about 15 minutes take out of pot and dice up along with all the meat picked off boiled chicken. Season to taste.
noodles soak up most of broth add more if needed
Serve over mashed potatoes.
