BETTY'S BAKED LEMON CHICKEN WINGS

This is a favorite of my family. It is so delicious hot or cold and smells so good while baking it will make your mouth water.If you like lemon, you will love this recipe--try it!

Ingredients

3 lbs. chicken wings
3 fresh lemons
2 t. garlic powder
2 T. dried oregano
salt & pepper to taste preference

Directions

WASH WINGS & PAT THEM DRY.
PLACE WINGS IN A 9" X 13" METAL OR GLASS PAN.
ROLL LEMONS TO SOFTEN & cut them in half. SQUEEZE LEMON JUICE FROM 3 HALVES OVER WINGS. (SAVE THE OTHER 3 HALVES for later)
SPRINKLE 1/2 OF THE OREGANO and the
GARLIC, SALT & PEPPER OVER WINGS
BAKE AT 350 degree OVEN FOR 20 MINUTES--THEN TURN WINGS OVER & SQUEEZE THE OTHER 3 LEMON HALVES OVER WINGS & SPRINKLE THE OTHER HALF
OF OREGANO OVER WINGS & BAKE ANOTHER 14--20 MINUTES TILL CHICKEN IS DONE.
Serve with rice, a vegetable & a salad.
