Caramel crunch bars

Really good and so easy to prepare


4 1/2 cups Graham crackers
1 bag caramel bits
2 tbsp milk
1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup coarsely chopped pretzels
4 squares semi-sweet baking chocolate melted


Line 8 inch square pan with foil extending over sides of pan. Grease foil
generously with shortening . Place grahams on bottom of pan, cutting to
fit if needed. Microwave caramel bits and milk in a microwaveable bowl
on high for 30 minutes or until caramel bits are completely melted and mixture is well blended stir every 30 secounds . Pour mixture over grahams top with marshmallows , and pretzels drizzle with chocolate.
Refrigerate for 1 hour. Use foil handles to remove dessert from pan.
before cutting into bars to serve.
Makes 1 dozen 12 bars each.

Note if you like you may sprinkle 1/2 cup cocktail peanuts over the caramel mixture with the marshmallow and pretzels before drizzling with chocolate.
