Corn Fritters

This is a recipe that my Mother used and now I use it. It's a differnt way to have corn.
Ingredients
1 cup corn (fresh, frozen, or canned), drained
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 tbsp. oil olive for frying
Directions
Mix corn with eggs and sifted dry ingredients. Heat oil in a 10-inch fry pan. Drop tbsps. of batter into the oil. Fry over medium to low hweat. when brown on bottom, turn and brown the other side. Serve with butter and srupy.
