Mock Devonshire Cream

Mock Devonshire Cream

With a facination of serving "High Tea" I looked for devonshire cream at the stores and found that just a small jar was nearly $8. This is a delightful substitute and more reasonable. For a "Tea" they would use this on biscuits or muffins, also on fruit. It is like a whipped cream or soft spread and rich.

1 cup heavy cream, 3 oz. cream cheese, 1 tablespoon of sugar,a pinch of salt

cream together the cream cheese, salt and sugar, beat in the whipping cream until you have soft peaks. Chill before serving.

Not a NESTLÉ®-tested recipe.
