Blonde Brownies

Blonde Brownies

This is a quick and esay NO chocolate brownie recipe that only takes 15 min. to prepare and 20-25 min. to bake.

Ingredients

1/2c. butter/margerine
1Tbs milk
3/4c. packed brown sugar
1 egg beaten
1c. all purpose flour
1/2tsp baking powder
1/8tsp salt
1tsp vanilla extract
1/2c. chopped walnut or pecans or use white chocolate chips

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease & flour a 8"x8" pan.
2.Combine the butter & milk in a large sauce pan.Place over low heat until the butter melts. 3. Remove from heat, add the brown sugar & egg. Stir till well blended.
4. Combine flour, baking powder, & salt then add to mixture. Stir in. Stir in the vanilla & nuts. Spread evenly in prepared pan.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool and cut into 2'x2'squares.
