french coconut pie

a easy version of coconut pie. serve with fresh whipped cream

Ingredients

4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) melted butter
2 eggs beaten
1 tablespoon all -purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 (3 1/2 oz) can shredded coconut (about 1 cup)
1 cup milk
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell


Directions

Preheat oven to 350

In a large bowl combine melted butter, eggs, flour, sugar, coconut , and
milk. Pour into pie shell. Bake until firm. for 45 to 60 minutes Cool

serve with a dollop of whipped cream or whipped topping.

Makes 6 to 8 servings
Prep time 10 minutes cook time 1 hour
