These are just what their name implies, YUMMY. They are very easy to make, but much easier to eat.

1/2 cup vegetable shortening
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups chopped pecan or walnuts
2 cups Nestle's chocolate morsels

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together shortening, margarine and sugars, after they are creamed, add the eggs and vanilla, cream again until well blended.
In a medium sized bowl, add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix it together with a whisk to make sure that everything is well blended. Add to creamed mixture, beat till blended, add nuts. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch pan that has been greased. Sprinkle Nestle morsels evenly over the top of batter. Bake for 30 minutes. Cut into bars while warm.

Not a NESTLÉ®-tested recipe.
