Break crackers into coarse pieces. Mix with pecan halves & set aside.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually add sugar & vanilla to egg whites. Fold in crackers & pecans. Pour into a slightly greased 9" pie plate. Bake at 300* for 30 minutes or until light browned. Cool pie & top with whipped cream.
If desired you can garnish it with chocolate curls & or pecan halves.
