In a small bowl, mix dry ingredients.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla. Beat at high speed, 1-2 minutes until creamy.
Add in the egg, beat 1-2 minutes.
Reduce the speed to low, gradually adding in flour mixture.
Beat well after each addition (1-2 minutes).
With your hands stir in the white chips, coconut and nuts.
By rounded tablespoon, drop the dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8-11 minutes.
Cool cookies for 2 minutes before removing to cool on rack.
