This is really a good frosting. I only know of my relatives making coconut pecan frosting with cream cheese. This recipe goes back a long way.

1-8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. butter, softened
1-16 oz. box. powdered sugar, sifted
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Beat cream cheese & butter until light & fluffy. Gradually add sugar, beating until smooth. Add vanilla & salt, beat until thoroughly blended. Stir in coconut & pecans.

Yields enough for a 3 layer cake.
If desired you can add more pecans & coconut

Not a NESTLÉ®-tested recipe.
