An old family recipe, going back several generations. Very easy to make & taste wonderful.

Ingredients

USE HEAVY IRON SKILLET
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
2 c. shelled peanuts
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions

Mix sugar, corn syrup, water & peanuts in iron skillet & stir until peanuts have turned light brown. Turn off heat & add 1 tsp. baking soda. Stir & pour on a buttered cokkie sheet.
Cool & break.
(PUT SKILLET IN HOT WATER IMMEDIATELY).

Not a NESTLÉ®-tested recipe.
