My Grandma made these every year. My Mom makes them now. I guess I'll be in charge of making them soon. They are so easy to make.

Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 pkg. dates, chopped
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans, chopped
2 c. rice krispie cereal
powdered sugar to roll cookies in

Directions

Cook first 4 ingred. 10 minutes in iron skillet on low heat.
Remove from heat and add 1 Tblsp. of vanilla, chopped pecans & rice krispies.
Let cool, then roll in small balls then roll in pow. sugar

Not a NESTLÉ®-tested recipe.
