Apple Crumble Spice Cake

This recipe is simplicity itself as it uses only three ingredients. A toping of ice cream or whipped cream adds a great finishing touch.


1 boxed spice cake mix; 1 can apple pie filling; 2 eggs


Chop the apples in the filling to about 1/2 inch size; mix the eggs with the filling. Stir batter into cake mix. The mixture will be quite stiff. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 350 degrees until cake springs back to touch or until a toothpick comes out clean. (use guidelines on the cake mix box as a reference.)
