SERVES-8;310 CAL PER SERVING CORN BREAD IS NOT JUST FOR DINNER-IT MAKES DELICIOUS BREAKFAST BREAD SLATTERED IN BUTTER & HONEY.I FOUND THIS RECIPE IN ONE OF THE STORES MAGAZINE.

Ingredients

1 CUP UNBLEACHED ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 CUP YELLOW OR WHITE CORNMEAL
1/4 CUP SUGAR
2 1/2 TESPOON BAKING POWDER
1/2 TEASPOON SALT
2 LARGE EGGS
1 CUP LOWFAT BUTTERMILK
1/4 CUP CORN OR CANOLA OIL
1/4 CUP CHOPPED FRESH SAGE.

Directions

PREHEAT OVEN TO 375F.COAT AN 8*8INCH ROUND PAN WITH COOKING SPRAY.COMBINE FLOUR,CORNMEAL,SUGAR,BAKING POWDER&SALT IN A LARGE BOWL.
WHISK TOGETHER EGGS, BUTTERMILK,OIL IN SEPERATE BOWL.FOLD EGG MIXTUREINTO DRY INGREDIENTS.STIR IN SAGE.
POUR BATTER INTO PREPARED PAN.BAKE 25MTSOR UNTIL TOP IS LIGHTLY BROWN & SPRINGS BACK WHEN TOUCHED.SET PAN ON WIRERACK,LET COOL 5MTS.CUT INTO SQUARES, & SERVE.
