Blend 1/2 cup butter, 1 cup flour and powdered sugar. Spread into an 8" square baking dish. Bake 350 for 15 minutes.
Beat eggs and brown sugar until thick and smooth. Sift the 2 tbls flour with the baking powder and salt. Add to egg mixture.
Spread on the crust. Top with the fruit and nuts. Bake an additional 30 minutes.
