good as a sidedish with rice or chapathis spices can be bought in indian grocery stores


1 pound chicken breasta or legs
4 tbsp butter
3 tbsp ginger garlic paste
2 cups of hung yogurt
1 cup tomato puree
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp roasted cumin powder


prepare a marinate by mixing the hung yogurt,tomato puree, spices & ginger garlic paste.sprinkle salt on chicken pieces & keep aside for 5 mts.rub in marinade in chicken & keep aside for 30 mts.heat butter in a thick vessel& add chicken pieces. cook on high for 5mts.lower the heat & cook covering the lid.cook till chicken is tender & gravy begin to thicken .serve
