Praline Sauce

Praline Sauce

So good, you'll want to eat it plain, but better try it over a scoop of ice cream, or a piece of pie--or both.

1/2 stick butter or margarine
1/2 cup Confectioner's sugar
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Place butter or margarine in a medium saucepan. Heat on low until melted. Add Confectioner's sugar, syrup, and water, and bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil, stirring constantly, for one minute exactly.
Remove from heat, add chopped pecans. Best served warm, but may be cooled and refrigerated, covered. Keeps indefinitely.
Makes 1 cup, about 12 servings.

Not a NESTLÉ®-tested recipe.
