substitute high quality fruit preserves like apricot,peach,blackberry,strawberry for the raspberry preserves.


3 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate.
2 eggs
1/3 cup butter/margarine.
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
3/4 cup allpurpose flour
1/4 cup high quality preserves.


preheat oven to 350f.grease a 8 inch square pan.melt chocolate & butter or margarine over low heat.set aside.blend together eggs & sugaruntil frothy.add vanilla.add the chocolate mixture slowly,mixing well.add flour beating till smooth.spread batterin the prepared pan.drop spoonfuls of preserves on the batter,.zigzag knife through the batter to marbelein the preserves.bake for 25 minutes.place the pan on wire rack & allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
