This is a recipe I have had for over 50 years and is a great cookie for anytime when you want something a little different.

1 cup sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup chocolate chips, chopped

Sift flour, baking powder and salt, set aside. Mix at medium speed, shortening, egg, vanilla and honey until light. At low speed beat in flour mixture, oats, nuts, raisins and chocolate chips.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet, flatten with a fork.

Bake at 375* for 10 minutes.

Makes 4 1/2 dozen.

Not a NESTLÉ®-tested recipe.
