These bars are fantastic and really sell at bake sales. You will have to make a pan for home too. My family really likes them.

1 14 ounce bag caramels
5 tablespoons Carnation Condensed milk
1 cup flour
1 cup oatmeal
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup melted butter
1 cup Nestles semi sweet morsels
1/2 cup chopped ,salted peanuts (optional)

Melt caramels in pan with milk on low heat, stirring often. Mix flour, oatmeal, sugar, soda, salt and butter. Pat 3/4 of mixture into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, add chocolate morsels and chopped nuts. drizzle caramel mixture over top. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs, bake 12 more minutes at 350 degrees.
When cool, cut into bars.

Not a NESTLÉ®-tested recipe.
