Directions
Combine the cucumbers and onion, sprinkle with salt.
Combine the water, vinegar and sugar; stir into the cucumbers and onions. Let stand at room temp for 1 hour.
Thoroughly drain the cucumbers and discard the liguid.
Combine the sour cream, dillseed, hot sauce and pepper. Toss gently with the cucumbers. Cover and chill, stirring occasionally.
