Ingredients
2 cups baking mix (I use genaric)
1/4 cup margarine, softened
2 Tablespoons sugar
2/3 cup Carnation evaporated milk
raspberry, strawberry or apricot preserves or apricot, poppy seed or ricotta cheese filling.
Glaze:
2/3 cup powdered sugar
1 Tablespoon warm Carnation evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Mix baking mix, margarine and sugar until crumbly. Stir in milk until dough forms, beat about 15 strokes, some lumps will remain, that is o.k.
Drop by rounded Tablepoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
Make shallow well in center of each with back of spoon.
Fill well with 1 teaspoon preserves. Bake until golden brown, 10 15 minutes.
While warm drizzle with glaze recipe.
Glaze:
In medium bowl beat until smooth, powdered sugar,warm Carnation milk and vanilla together.
While danish are still warm drizzle with glaze.
