Pumpkin Bread

A moist, delicious, spicy pumpkin bread that everyone likesThis bread freezes well.

Ingredients

1/2 cup salad oil
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
1/3 cup water
1 cup canned Libby's pumpkin
1 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinammon
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup raisins

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix oil, sugar, eggs, water and pumpkin in large bowl. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder,cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg. Add dry ingredients to pumpkin mixture, blending well. Add nuts and raisins. Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 3450 degrees for 1 to 1 1/4 hoours. Cool in pan on wire rack.
This recipe may be doubled for 2 loaves.
