Coconut Icing

I got this recipe from an old cookbook that I have. It is delicious on a yellow cake or german chocolate cake.

Ingredients

1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup margarine
2 Tablespoons flour
1/2 cup Carnation Evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

Combine sugar and eggs in saucepan; mix well. Add margarine, flour and milk.
Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add coconut, pecans and vanilla; beat until cool.
Frost cake that has been baked and cooled.
