Some may call these "Sloppy Joes". Have had this recipe all my married life, and am looking at our 57th anniversary this October. A friend, who owned a tavern, made these for get-togethers. Glad I got the recipe from her. P.S. She was also partial to limburger sandwiches with onions. Ha Ha. Mrs Tierney.
Put all ingredients in heavy saucepan. Cook until meat is done, and mixture is thick enough to spoon into buns. You don't have to cook onions and meat first. Just mix all ingredients raw. All flavors blend while cooking.
