Bing Cherry Jello

This has been a family favorite. My grandmother would make it every time we came to visit. One of my first cooking experiences was helping her make this recipe! This recipe is tasty enough to serve as dessert also.

1 3oz. box cherry jello; 15 oz. can Bing cherries, pitted and drained. Reserve juice. 3oz. box cook and serve vanilla pudding; 8 oz. Cool Whip, thawed.

Add enough water to cherry juice to make 2 1/2 c. Place in saucepan. Add boxes of jello and pudding. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add cherries and chill til set. Fold Cool Whip into jello mixture. Refrigerate at least l hour. Make a double recipe for a 9x13 pan.

Not a NESTLÉ®-tested recipe.
